Kaisermühlen – Vienna International Center

Vienna International Center, also called UNO-City, is one of the four headquarters of the United Nations.
The Austria Center Vienna is located next to the UNO-City. Many new office buildings complement the business district: the Andromeda-Tower, the IZD-Tower, the Ares Tower, the STRABAG house, the Saturn Tower, the DC Towers and the Tech Gate.

Donauinsel

The Donauinsel (Danube island) is 21 kilometres long and one of Vienna's favourite recreational areas.

Europe's biggest open air festival, the Donauinselfest, is one of the main attractions on the island.

Vorgartenstrasse

Get off at this stop to enjoy cruises on the Danube (DDSG Blue Danube).

Praterstern

The Prater stands for great fun and excitement as well as for serenity and tranquillity. The "Wurstelprater" offers attractions such as nostalgic merry-go-rounds or brand-new roller coasters as well as the world-famous Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel), one of Vienna's famous sights.
The "Green Prater" is home to well-kept lawns to sit, play and lie on and to serene paths which are perfect for a jog, a leisurely stroll or a ride on your bicycle.

To get to Messe Wien change trains here to U-Bahn U2 and you will reach the Messe in only 2 minutes.

Nestroyplatz

Get off here to see the former residence of Johann Strauss son ("The Waltz King") which is now home to a museum.

Schwedenplatz

our first stop in Vienna's old city centre! This lively square is a main starting point for many activities in Vienna's centre. Go for a walk along Vienna's famous boulevard, the Ringstraße, or explore more sights which are hidden in the narrow alleys of old Vienna.

Stephansplatz

You are now in the heart of the city after a comfy ride of only 9 minutes from the Strandhotel Alte Donau!

Karlsplatz und Karlskirche

The Karlskirche (St. Charles Church) is situated on this beautiful square. You can also walk to the Musikverein, the Konzerthaus and the Naschmarkt from here in just a few minutes.

Change to subway U4 to go to Schönbrunn Palace, the ride takes roughly 12 minutes from here.

Hauptbahnhof

The new district BahnhofCity and the recently finished Vienna Hauptbahnhof (main station) turns the city into a multi-modal node within Europe.

The magnificent Baroque palaces of the Belvedere, built under Prince Eugene of Savoy, are within walking distance of the station.

Schönbrunn

Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residency of the emperors, is a must-see on every visit to Vienna. The gardens are one of the most beautiful Baroque ensembles of Europe and feature enchanting scenery, a Palm House, the Gloriette and the world-famous zoo.
